This is an exciting opportunity for a Data Strategy focused individual to join our growing Data & Analytics team with a focus on delivering data strategy and data management solutions for private enterprise clients. You will work in fast-paced, cross-functional project teams utilising the latest techniques and frameworks to deliver transformation strategy solutions for our clients across a range of industries.

The D&A team is at an exciting stage in its growth, with significant investment in developing pioneering analytical products in the data, analytics, visualisation and strategy space. Our growing market requires to set up the foundations of governance and strategy to be able to exploit advanced analytics and automation.

The Data Strategy Consultant role will support our growth ambitions by playing an active part in these projects. It will suit a technically minded individual with a strong interest in data and experience in being in client-facing roles. The right candidate will be enthusiastic about work in a fast-moving environment with exposure to lots of different client challenges and will be ready to make an impact on our projects from day one.

Job Role:

You will work in the Data Consulting pillar, performing roles such as:

- Supporting the creation and design of long-term Data Strategies for our private enterprise
clients
- Designing and implementing data governance and data management frameworks, principles,
policies and processes
- Evaluating existing documentation to identify the business current-state, defining the
'to-be' state including Target Operating Models to achieve the desired strategy
- Defining target technical architectures with support from senior technical subject matter
experts that enables clients to use their data as an asset
- Assessing client's maturity against the private enterprise data maturity assessment
framework
- Participating actively in and contributing to workshops and sessions with clients, across
a range of sectors
- Building strong stakeholder relationships with clients to support in identifying further
opportunities for the wider Data and Analytics consulting team and KPMG
- Supporting the building of the practice around data strategy and management through
contributing with the creation of new propositions and products
- Conveying complex technical requirements to a wide range of audiences
- Supporting the implementation of data quality frameworks
- Keeping abreast of developments across the data strategy, governance, and analytics
landscape, with the desire to translate the latest techniques, technologies and tooling
into our project outputs

Candidate Profile

Essential:

- Keen interest in data, experiencing working in a client-facing role
- Good understanding of Data Strategy principles
- Good understanding of Data Governance principles, policies, and processes, including -
Master Data Management
- Good understanding of data management technologies and methodologies
- Business Analysis skills, strong information gathering techniques
- Familiarity with Data Governance Roles & Responsibilities
- Familiarity with Target Operating Model design
- Experience of having defined in full or part thereof a data strategy, data governance
principles, policies, and processes.

Desirable

- Previous consulting experience
- Familiarity with key technology vendors in the Data Strategy and Data Quality space
