Overview:

Join a global leader in power systems, contributing to the design and development of engines (400kW-16MW) for diverse sectors including oil & gas, marine, rail, and electric power. This role focuses on the end-to-end development of engine components and systems, ensuring top-tier performance, durability, cost-effectiveness, and serviceability.

Key Responsibilities:

Research new materials and competitor technologies.

Build, test, and analyze engine component prototypes.

Lead DFMEA and DVP&R processes.

Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams globally.

Develop and release production-ready designs.

Act as Engineering Lead for "Cost-Down" project initiatives.

Conduct design analysis, simulations, and technical presentations.

Essential Skills:

Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving.

Effective verbal and written communication.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Proficient in 3D modeling, prototyping, and automated design tools.

Knowledge in product lifecycle from concept to production.

Background Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Materials Science.

1-3 years of experience in product design/development.

Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of manufacturability.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in diesel/spark-ignited engine design.

Familiarity with product development cycles.

Advanced proficiency in Creo CAD software.

Basic simulation and analysis capabilities.
