Are you a seasoned Construction Electrical Superintendent with a passion for excellence, safety, and innovation in industrial gas and energy projects? Join a ground-breaking Blue Hydrogen Plant project in the Botlek/Rotterdam region, leading the electrical construction execution on behalf of the client.
We are looking for a hands-on leader with deep technical knowledge, site-based experience, and the ability to drive safety and quality standards on a high-profile, energy-transition project.
Safety & Compliance
Champion and enforce a strong safety-first culture; ensure compliance with all local and site-specific safety regulations.
Conduct weekly HSE audits, issue and monitor permits to work, and lead weekly safety walks.
Maintain a clean, orderly, and compliant site in coordination with the E&I Construction Contractor.
Construction Oversight
Supervise the erection and installation of all electrical works, ensuring compliance with recognized codes and project specifications.
Oversee contractor execution, daily progress, and construction quality.
Support interface management between disciplines and resolve on-site construction issues.
Coordination & Reporting
Attend daily and weekly construction coordination meetings.
Support system walkdowns and track punch list items.
Prepare daily work assessments and contractor performance reports.
Monitor progress of the E&I Construction Contractor and provide regular updates to the Construction Manager.
Required Qualifications & Experience
Degree or Diploma in Electrical or related Engineering discipline.
Minimum 10 years of site-based construction experience in industrial gases, oil & gas, or related industries.
VCA-VOL certification.
Proven supervisory experience in electrical construction works.
In-depth knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and installation techniques.
Fluent in English and Dutch (verbal and written).
Desirable Qualifications
Previous experience in industrial gas construction projects.
Experience working directly on behalf of the client rather than via EPC.
