Key Responsibilities:
Perform thorough inspections of mechanical equipment and welding processes at onshore construction sites.
Interpret radiographic images and other NDT results (Liquid Penetrant, Magnetic Particle, Ultrasonic Examinations).
Ensure compliance with PED (Pressure Equipment Directive) and all relevant codes and standards.
Utilize SmartCompletions software for documentation and reporting of inspection activities.
Work closely with construction teams to enforce quality and safety protocols.
Maintain records and prepare detailed inspection reports.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a QC Inspector in the oil and gas industry, particularly on onshore plants.
Strong understanding of mechanical equipment, welding techniques, and construction safety.
Certifications:
CSWIP 3.1 Welding Inspector / CSWIP 3.2 Senior Welding Inspector
IWI/IWE certification
PCN Level II Radiographic Interpretation
Hands-on experience with SmartCompletions software.
Familiar with Regulatory Compliance standards, especially PED.
Skilled in inspection tools and software for mechanical QA/QC.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Education:
Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgy, or Welding.
