Job Title: Scrum Master

Project/Department Overview
Our client in the insurance sector is seeking a dedicated Scrum Master to join their Infrastructure & Operations department. The Scrum Master will play a crucial role in supporting a team of Product Owners and Technical Integrators (Architects) in developing the product vision, backlogs, and designs for Infrastructure & Operations. This team does not deliver traditional infrastructure; instead, they focus on creating product visions, roadmaps, and backlogs for delivery teams. This hybrid role combines responsibilities of both Scrum Master and Deputy Product Owner, facilitating effective collaboration among team members and enabling Product Owners to concentrate on their core responsibilities.
Primary Responsibilities
Organize and structure monthly and quarterly activities for the Tribe Client Value, including QAP, monthly retrospectives, weekly meetings, and KUA preparations.
Track requests in Jira, such as CVPO and PMT tickets, ensuring regular updates and reporting impediments and velocity issues to the Product Owner.
Analyze the team's strengths and weaknesses to define and implement an improvement plan.
Assist the I&O Product Owner and team of Product Owners and Integrators in enhancing collaboration, allowing Product Owners to focus on essential tasks and achieve optimal results.
Prepare and document the non-standard needs and demands for the evolution of IT infrastructures, internal and external users, and related processes for which the Product Owner is responsible.
Represent the Product Owner in operational meetings (e.g., Weekly Standups) and translate requests into Work Packages for I&O teams.
Ensure adherence to governance and internal processes, following the Product Owner's recommendations.
Critically assess team situations and assist in defining priorities.
Communicate progress and enhance internal communication between the I&O Product Owner and the team of Product Owners and Integrators.
Provide coaching in effective methodologies and techniques.
Maintain records and documentation while preparing appropriate reports.
Support the I&O Product Owner in various tasks.
Non-Technical Profile Requirements
Strong motivation and commitment to the role.
Exceptional tracking, coordination, and project development skills.
Ability to establish and manage engagement objectives, expectations, and quality plans.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Capacity to work on multiple tasks simultaneously with minimal supervision.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and team collaboration skills.
Proficient in people management.
Ability to follow change management procedures and internal guidelines.
Methodology/Certification Requirements
Master's degree or equivalent experience.
Expert knowledge of Agile methodology.
Scrum Master Certification.
Technical Profile Requirements
Over 5 years of experience in Infrastructure & Operations.
Proficient in MS Office, Jira, and Confluence.
Strong understanding of Project/Program Management.
Excellent reporting skills.
Outstanding communication abilities.
Language Proficiencies
Fluent in French and Dutch.
Proficient in English.
