Our client, a provider of marine services to both the Oil & Gas and Renewables industries are seeking a Project Engineer to join them on a permanent basis in Aberdeenshire. The Project Engineer will be accountable for specific part of the work scope and shall be responsible to take the allocated task offshore and execute installation. In essence they are looking for the following:
*Someone who can review all technical project documentation award and identify changes and/or discrepancies between pre-award and contract documentation and deficiencies in tender method statements.
*Management experience to oversee the Service Departments within the project team
*Experience with generating procurement, fabrication and installation documentation including scopes of work, procedures, lift plans and drawing sketches.
*Someone who is compliant with contract requirements and can compile and work with Dive Supervisors in generation of Dive Plans
*Ensure technical accuracy and compliance of offshore construction and inspection activities with contract requirements.
*Report directly to the Project Manager / Offshore Project Manager for all engineering aspects of offshore operations
The ideal candidate must be highly proactive and results focused with the ability to influence others within the team. You will have an engineering Qualification and or relevant demonstrable experience with a working knowledge of Subsea / Topside installation techniques, equipment and methods; rigging and Sea fastening; fabrication / construction methods, isolations barriers and general subsea installation practices.. A self-motivated individual who can work both individually and as part of a team and hold offshore medical and survival certificates.
