Context
Our client in the Financial Sector, a leading player in digital banking and investment services, is looking for a Business Analyst to join its TISA feature team within the Marketing Department, contributing to the development and optimization of trading and investing solutions.
You will play a central role in project scoping, analysis, process documentation, and coordination between business and IT, with a strong focus on improving trading-related processes and systems.
Key Responsibilities
Project Analysis & Scoping
Participate in the analysis of new trading-related projects with the Product Owner, Tech Lead, and Architect.
Define project scope, gather requirements, and map objectives.
Current State Analysis ("As-Is")
Document the existing trading applications, contracts, and associated pain points.
Target Architecture & Optimization
Co-design modern, scalable, and state-of-the-art solution architectures in collaboration with technical stakeholders.
Drive optimization of current contracts and trading processes.
Business Requirements & Functional Analysis
Collect, document, and analyze business and functional requirements.
Translate business needs into functional specifications.
Process Documentation & Modelling
Document business processes using BPMN and/or UML.
Ensure clarity and consistency in documentation for technical and non-technical audiences.
Agile Collaboration & Backlog Management
Contribute actively to Agile ceremonies and backlog refinement.
Assist in defining user stories and prioritizing business value.
Cross-functional Coordination
Liaise between Business, IT, and Operations (Back-office Trading) teams.
Bridge communication gaps and ensure alignment between departments.
Issue Analysis & Solution Definition
Identify and analyze issues in trading workflows.
Define pragmatic and scalable solutions.
Quality Assurance & Data Integrity
Monitor and improve data quality related to trading platforms and contracts.
Continuous Improvement
Recommend improvements for systems, tools, and processes supporting trading activities.
Required Skills & Experience
Education: Master's degree in Finance, Economics, or Engineering.
Experience: Medior to Senior level in Business Analysis, preferably in a trading/investing context.
Domain Knowledge:
Solid understanding of trading operations, instruments, and platforms.
Knowledge of market structures, pricing mechanisms, and financial products.
Experience managing real-time and delayed quote data.
Technical Competence:
Familiarity with API integrations, especially in trading/financial environments.
Basic understanding of cloud-based architecture and modern IT solutions.
Agile Mindset:
Proficient in Agile methodologies and backlog management.
Experience conducting refinement sessions and assessing business value.
Analytical & Communication Skills:
Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving capabilities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Capable of translating complex business needs into technical specifications.
Soft Skills:
Highly autonomous and proactive.
Able to communicate effectively with developers and technical teams.
