Mission Context
Our client, a leading banking sector company, is looking for a Senior Scrum Master to be the key facilitator and coach within agile projects following the Scrum methodology. The Scrum Master ensures the project team fully understands and effectively applies Scrum principles to maximize project outcomes while shielding the team from internal and external distractions.
This role involves guiding and coaching the project team, business lines, and stakeholders on agile best practices, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Project Management & Facilitation
Set up and facilitate all Scrum ceremonies: Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
Schedule and monitor key project milestones aligned with Scrum methodology.
Ensure smooth adoption and application of Scrum practices, supporting the team in overcoming obstacles.
Provide assistance and support to the Product Owner in managing the Product Backlog.
Support the team in delivering the Definition of Done (DoD), Sprint Backlog, and other key deliverables.
Track and report on team capacity, velocity, and progress metrics to aid sprint planning and transparency.
Agile Coaching & Methodology
Coach and challenge the project team to encourage gradual self-organization and continuous improvement.
Identify and remove impediments to the team's effectiveness, protecting the team from disruptions.
Act as an ambassador for Agile principles and practices within the organization.
Provide regular reporting to leadership on the deployment and health of Scrum practices across projects.
Support risk and issue management related to agile project delivery.
Requirements
Experience & Knowledge
Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Scrum Master or in a similar agile coaching role.
Strong expertise in agile methodologies and techniques (Scrum, Kanban, etc.).
Proficiency with agile project management tools such as Jira.
Understanding of software development lifecycle, including automated unit and functional testing, and continuous integration tools.
Solid knowledge of project management methodologies.

Work Arrangement
Hybrid work model: Approximately 50% onsite presence and 50% remote working.
