Job Title: Customer Engagement Associate / Enterprise Data Architect

As a member of the Data team within the corporate Digital & Data department, you will facilitate the organization's goal of harnessing data to achieve its targets.

Service Description: The Data Platform vision is based on the concept of Data Mesh, emphasizing domain ownership, serving data as a product, and federated computational governance. The Data Platform is organized around two product types: Enabler Products that deliver solutions for end users and engineers, and Data Product Teams focused on delivering curated data tailored to business needs.

Role Overview: As a Customer Engagement Associate / Enterprise Data Architect, you will collaborate with subject matter experts, Solutions Architects, and Systems Architects to design robust foundations for the Data Platform. Your responsibilities will include:

Aligning business and technology worlds to meet strategic targets.
Advocating for the adoption of the Data Platform by supporting Data Product Teams.
Designing enterprise data architecture blueprints that support data capabilities and enable engineers.
Prioritizing data management, governance, and quality improvement initiatives.
Supporting Data Product Teams in designing the Transversal Data Model (TDM) and Canonical Data Model (CDM).
Driving Proof of Concepts to evaluate and validate options for the Enterprise Data Architecture Blueprint.
Collecting feedback from data product teams to ensure marketplace needs are met.
Requirements:

Technical Skills:

8+ years of experience as a cross-domain Enterprise, Data, or Solution Architect, designing Solutions and Blueprints.
8+ years of experience in designing Data Integrations within the enterprise and with external parties, bridging cloud and on-premise systems.
7+ years of experience establishing best practices, methodologies, frameworks, policies, and processes.
Experience with Domain Driven Design and designing Data Models.
Familiarity with messaging systems and/or Event Driven Architecture.
Experience with data-intensive APIs and RESTful architecture.
Some experience in designing Master Data Management solutions and implementing Big Data and Data Lake architectures (optional).
Proven experience in metadata management, data catalogs, and metadata harvesting tools.
Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or Physics.

Additional Information:

Location: Our client's headquarters with occasional trips to Berlin; remote work is also mandatory.
Work Permit: For non-EU candidates, possession of a work permit and valid residence permit for Belgium is required.
