You will join the HR Core EMEA team, supporting HR operations across 15 countries. This team is part of a broader HR structure that includes HR Business Partners, Core Services (by region), and Centres of Expertise. This role is based in either the Netherlands or the UK and will provide maternity cover.
Key Responsibilities
Manage payroll and benefits administration for employees in the UK, Netherlands, and Switzerland
Act as a proactive HR advisor to managers and employees on matters such as absences, benefits, local employment legislation, and performance management
Continuously seek efficiency improvements to enhance HR service delivery
Ensure compliance with local employment laws and maintain up-to-date HR policies
Oversee benefits administration including annual renewals, onboarding, and offboarding
Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders (managers, employees) and external vendors
Your Profile
We are looking for a motivated and experienced HR professional who thrives in an international, fast-paced environment.
โ Required Experience and Skills
Minimum 5 years of HR Generalist experience, ideally in a multinational setting
Strong knowledge of payroll and benefits in the Netherlands, UK, and other EU countries
Good understanding of UK and Dutch employment legislation, including ARBO (Netherlands)
Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills; comfortable working with data
Excellent organizational and time management abilities
Strong team spirit, with a solution-oriented and proactive approach
Self-starter with the ability to work independently and a willingness to learn
Fluency in English is required; Dutch is a plus
Proficient in Excel; experience with Workday is an advantage
Strong written and verbal communication skills
High level of integrity, discretion, and confidentiality
