Aid the growth and expansion of the company through using your skills. Current and previous projects include hydro, wind, solar, hybrid and green hydrogen. You will already have worked on these project types; experience is an absolute in tandem with the responsibilities.

The role out line

* This renewable energy Construction Manager opportunity is based to the South of Edinburgh and an office presence is required.
* Securing interfaces within construction and commissioning.
* Leading to the delivery of class leading renewable energy projects.
* Developing, maintaining, and implementing Construction Phase Plans, including engaging internal stakeholders for their review, comment and approval and management of construction phase activities in accordance with the approved construction phase plan.
* Scheduling and managing all internal and external resources necessary for the realisation of construction related activities, with appropriate delegation to and the management of specific specialists within other departments or subcontractors.
* Responsible for the coordination and delivery of all construction related contracts, in liaison with the Project Managers.
* Supporting the Project Manager in preparing standard management reporting documents in relation to risks, progress, and costs for project progress meetings.
* Liaison with the Asset Management team to ensure effective handover into operations for projects being added to the asset management portfolio.
* Implementing effective Health, Safety and Environment management for construction projects and fostering strong health and safety culture through effective leadership.
* Support the project manager in the management of budget contingencies and commercial risks to ensure completion of projects within budget and without claims.

To be considered for this excellent consultancy you will need to demonstrate

* Bachelor or master's degree in Engineering.
* CITB Site Management Safety Training Scheme
* Experience of construction management in the renewable energy industry (including but not exclusively onshore wind).
* Leadership experience with excellent managerial and motivational skills.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and external parties.
* Commercially aware with good experience of managing challenging negotiations and disputes.
* Ability to facilitate multi-disciplinary collaboration and team effort.
* Good understanding of legal, technical, and commercial issues and risks related to projects within the energy sector.
* A passion for HSE and good awareness of HSE legislation and standards
