Role Summary
Our client is looking for a Senior Windows System Engineer to strengthen its Windows Engineering team, which supports both the Belgian and German entities within the group. The position focuses on server environments, security, automation, and advanced support within a complex enterprise setup.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and use the TrendMicro security suite, with a focus on host-based firewall management across various operating systems (primarily Windows).
Administer and maintain SCCM (System Center Configuration Manager) environments.
Oversee and optimize Windows Remote Desktop environments.
Design, harden, and support Windows Server operating systems.
Provide third-level support across the above domains.
Write, maintain, and troubleshoot complex PowerShell scripts for automation and operational efficiency.
Technical Requirements
Senior-level operational experience in a Microsoft Windows Server environment.
In-depth expertise with:
Active Directory
SCCM
TrendMicro or similar endpoint security platforms
Host-based firewalls (Note: not network firewalls)
Experience managing infrastructures of similar scale:
~2,000 servers
~5,000 users
Advanced PowerShell scripting capabilities
Language skills:
French or Dutch (one must be native level)
English (fluent)
German is a plus
Additional technical knowledge in the following areas is a strong advantage:
MECM, SCOM, Splunk, PRTG, Linux, ADFS, Infoblox, Big-IP F5
Non-Technical Requirements
