Virtual Event

Thursday, 24 June 2021

10:30 AM to 12:00 PM

Senior VP and Managing Director at Volt International, Ben Batten is joining the Global Recruiter virtual round table to discuss the current and future challenges for recruiters concerned with high volume, temporary workforces.

Before the pandemic, The Global Recruiter ran a series of round tables under the title of Recruitment Live. Held in association with leading industry suppliers, they were an opportunity for recruitment professionals to meet and discuss issues around the industry. It was a chance to raise challenges, discuss ideas and share views with others from the industry. We’ve now moved these discussions online, and in this session we want to look at the challenge of talent management for recruiters working for high volume temporary workforces – from sourcing through to placement.

Recruitment Live Online - Managing and Retaining a High Volume Temporary Workforce

Date: Thursday 24th June

Time: 10.30

Duration: 90 minutes including break

Finding and retaining a high volume temporary workforce has always been a challenge for recruiters. It has also been one of the keys to success as employers want to make the most of a flexible but reliable source of talent. The pandemic, the impact of Brexit and new immigration rules have to some extent made the task of sourcing and placing talent more complicated, challenging recruiters operating in sectors such as healthcare, retail, hospitality and so on. As the lockdown recedes and companies increase their workforce demands, how are recruiters reacting to key into this market?

In this Recruitment Live discussion, we want to address the talent flow for high volume recruiters – where are candidates being sourced, how are they being managed to take the positions required and how is this being done compliantly and efficiently? What can be done to help recruiters meet this critical demand? From the challenges already met to the opportunities that lie ahead, please join us so we can hear directly of the needs and successes of recruiters.
