Contracting opportunity in industrial gases sector as ASU Operations Shift Supervisor in Zuidbroek, Netherlands.

Responsibilities:
During your shift duty, manage safe & stable operation of a 3 train ASU facility, during its transition phase from start-up until stable operation and hand-over to client. You will work in and from the Temporary Control Room at the ASU facility.

Required experience:
* At least 3 years' experience as shift supervisor, preferably in Air Separation Units
* Experience with coordinating parallel operational tasks and the permit to work systems
* Able to provide "On The Job" training of operators on the operation of the ASU facility
* Flexibility, ability to work in a team and within the organisation
* Sufficient English language skills

Reporting line: You will report to the Air Products Operations Manager for the project

Duties:
1. Manage and coordinate the safe co-current commissioning, start-up, and operations activities for the 3 trains during your shift duty. Do this in close cooperation with your colleagues from the Commissioning team, who will perform the Commissioning & start-up work at daytime (typically 6 days a week).
2. Ensure save & stable 24/7 operation of the available ASU train(s) to deliver Nitrogen to client via pipeline
3. Supervise 2 operators from client and give them On The Job training. Most of these operators already have ASU experience, but not for this specific plant
4. Responsible to (let) sign the work permits in the live plant area. Join the daily SIMOPS meetings
5. Hand over your shift from & to your colleague shift supervisors
6. If required, help on ASU technical troubleshooting & plant optimisation.

Requested starting date at site: 13 November or around that time

Contract end date: approx. 1st February, to be confirmed

Shift working pattern: to be confirmed. Most likely it will be 4 shifts, working 12 hours per shift. Day shift runs from 7 AM until 7 PM, night shift from 7 PM until 7 AM.

Rotation schedule: A typical working schedule will be: 7 days night shift + 7 days day shift, followed by 14 days of leave including.
Shorter schedules (say 5 days night shift + 5 days day shift followed by 10 days leave including travel) can also be considered. Leave days to be mutually agreed, to ensure full shift coverage.

Work location: village of Zuidbroek, 30 km east of the city of Groningen, in north-eastern part of the Netherlands.

Accommodation and travel: will be reimbursed. There are sufficient hotels and rented apartments nearby.
