The brief for the Asset Management Engineer
*Specific current product design changes, driven by warranty issues. Will be picking up smaller projects within this area. Will drive production development of fixtures / robot tooling / robot programming. Working / supervising suppliers.
*Looking at facility assets - PUWER. Assessing how safe machines are within the facility. Complete PUWER assessments. Help identify who can resolve asset issues, supervising contractors to complete works. Leading CAPEX / expense projects to bringing machines up to safety and compliance standards.
*Managing asset register and asset identification.
*Managing critical spares analysis, obsolescence and procurement.
*Understanding machinery within the facility ensuring technical files are completed to meet machinery directive requirements.
*Creation / revision of planned and predictive maintenance schedules across the site.
*Creation and management of machine FMEA.
*Will need a generalist overview of mechanical hydraulics, electrical etc can read electrical diagram, mechanical diagram etc. Don't need to be specialist in any specific area.
