Are you a detail-driven Assistant Buyer with strong procurement experience in manufacturing?
We're looking for a proactive, systems-savvy professional to join our Procurement & Specialty Products team in a high-impact, fast-paced environment.
What You'll Do
As a key support to our Site Buyer and wider Procurement team, you'll:
* Manage supplier communications, pricing, and quote analysis
* Lead resource projects: gather data, obtain quotations, and present findings
* Oversee the end-to-end procurement cycle - from issuing POs to managing deliveries and inventory
* Navigate systems like SAP, Teamcenter, and other procurement platforms
* Help drive continuous improvement across quality, cost, logistics, development, and compliance
* Support onboarding of new suppliers and ensure alignment with internal procedures
* Provide backup support for Legacy/Service buying and contribute to audit readiness
What You'll Bring
* 3+ years in an Assistant Buyer or Procurement role (preferably in manufacturing)
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems (SAP)
* Experience with Teamcenter and/or exposure to systems like Power BI, Glovia, STMS, Supplier Connect, etc.
* Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and communication abilities
* A collaborative mindset and a passion for operational excellence
