About the Role:

In this role, you will be at the intersection of business and IT within the Customers, Markets, and System Operations (CMS) department, playing a key role in driving the company's technological advancements and supporting its ambitious energy goals.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Business Analyst in the CMS department, your contributions will help build a reliable and sustainable electricity system, aligned with European climate policies. Your role involves:
Supporting the business in developing new products and enhancing existing ones.
Defining business expectations and designing operational processes for the development of IT tools.
Analyzing business data and contributing to the evolution of an enterprise data warehouse.
Acting as a Product Owner using Agile/Scrum methodologies to manage the product backlog, define priorities, and validate IT solutions.
Validating functional specifications and conducting test cases at the end of each sprint.
Coordinating cross-functional projects and integration tests.
Providing training and support to help business teams use new tools effectively.
CMS Department Overview:
Customers: Manages customer relationships, contracts, invoicing, metering, and transparency reporting.
National Control Center (NCC): Balances energy production and consumption on the grid and manages grid stability.
Grid Development (GD): Identifies long-term grid needs, conducts system analyses, and creates investment plans.
Markets: Designs the energy market, develops services for energy trading, and advises on market transparency and compliance.
Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum of six years in a relevant or similar role.
Languages: Proficiency in Dutch and/or French, with a good command of English.
Education: Degree in civil or commercial engineering, a master's degree in science, or an equivalent qualification.
Technical Skills:
Strong knowledge of business process and data modeling.
Experience writing and validating functional specifications.
Proficiency with Agile/Scrum methodology, particularly in the role of a Scrum Product Owner.
Experience in the energy sector is a plus.
Soft Skills: Strong analytical and conceptual skills, project management expertise, a customer-focused mindset, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
