You'll collaborate with other contingent workers and employees to build a sustainable, green, and reliable energy infrastructure that stimulates economic growth and reduces the ecological footprint.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain a business glossary for relevant data domains to ensure consistent terminology across the organization.
Define, document, and proactively monitor data quality rules and data lineage for the data managed within the domain.
Monitor the use of domain data throughout the organization.
Define and track KPIs related to data governance and quality, performing root cause analysis when targets are not met and proposing solutions in collaboration with business and IT.
Participate in transversal projects where domain data is used, ensuring a consistent and effective architecture.
Support the data owner within their domain and contribute to the development of data products.
Act as the main point of contact for all data-related issues within the respective domain.
Promote the importance of data governance best practices to colleagues, fostering a data-driven culture.
Collaborate with fellow data stewards to improve data quality and governance across the organization.
Additional Requirements
Familiarity with the electricity sector or ability to quickly gain insight into this sector and its underlying concepts.
Several years of experience as a data steward.
Proficiency in SQL, Python, or analytical tools.
Experience with data models and IT architecture.
Strong analytical skills to address complex problems in a structured manner.
Expertise in data management, data quality management, and metadata management, including concepts like business glossary, data lineage, and data contracts.
Proactive attitude with a sense of responsibility and a hands-on mentality.
Excellent communication skills to facilitate workshops and lead discussions when necessary.
Strong team player who enjoys collaboration.
Fluent in Dutch and/or French, with proficiency in English.
