Contract Design Engineer - Staffordshire
Our industry leading client is looking for a talented, enthusiastic and innovative Design Engineer. The role will be based at their Staffordshire premises where they are involved in powering industries and business on a truly global scale.
This role will provide complex project support to the engineering teams and wider business. You will design, develop and maintain product systems and components as part of a team based collaborative working group. Further responsibilities include:

Experience designing maintaining and developing engine components, parts and systems

Working to optimise performance goals including durability; quality; serviceability and cost

Provide enhanced problem resolution process assistance based on product and design expertise across the business.

Able to operate on a global scale with team and suppliers

Vital role in an exciting innovative product support project
Our client expects the suitable professional to have:

A bachelor degree in an accredited Engineering, Computer Science, or Materials Science curriculum

1-2 years' experience or a masters or a doctorate degree.

Desires a mastery of engineering and manufacturability concepts.

Must have a good mechanical aptitude

Strong problem solving skills

Good communications skills.
