Contract with an industry leading OEM in Stafford. The role is for an Engine Test Technician. You will be working on research and development in the Test Engineering team.
You should have a background in working on diesel or gas engine test programs. You can strip and rebuild diesel engines from an automotive or off highway background. Further credit given for involvement in Instrumentation experience including thermocouples, pressure transducers, flowmeters, emissions analysers, etc.
Three years direct industry experience required, and you should be a proficient user of computer applications including Word, Excel, and Power Point. A good knowledge of engine test systems (DSG, Cadet, PUMA, Morphee) and test schedule writing is desirable.
