Overview: We are recruiting for our client in the retail sector, seeking a highly skilled Graph Architect to lead the development and organization of product data, ensuring a seamless shopping experience for customers. This role will play a key part in structuring the relationships between products, using taxonomies and ontologies to improve the discoverability and categorization of items in the company's digital platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead Architecture and Technical Solutions: Design and implement the technical approach for creating a semantic layer, ensuring the product data is structured for easy navigation and relationships.
Strategy and Development: Define and execute the strategy for technical development, leading the implementation of taxonomies and ontologies for product classification.
Facilitation of Technical Sessions: Conduct technical sessions with system owners and subject matter experts (SMEs) to gather input and drive alignment on the system architecture and taxonomy structures.
Domain Modeling: Develop a domain model focusing on bed textiles and aesthetics, creating associations that improve product relationships.
Ontology Creation: Establish an aesthetics ontology to define the various styles and themes of products, ensuring they are logically linked.
Business Rules Association: Define business rules that describe functional and aesthetic associations between product types, ensuring a prioritized and coherent organization of variants.
Data Enhancement: Work on enhancing product data taxonomically to ensure better product classification and user experience.
Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams: Coordinate with various teams, including taxonomists, content engineers, and knowledge SMEs, to ensure data usability and integration into the company's digital platforms.

The Graph Architect will:

Encode product associations in the knowledge graph.
Ensure product data is enhanced and properly categorized.
Collaborate closely with experience teams to ensure the data's usability in customer-facing digital platforms.
