It's time to use your planning and development background in this dynamic and Land Acquisition Manager role. The brief will suit a renewable energy background and should bring negotiation skills suitable for the challenges ahead.

Broadly as Land Acquisition Manager you will be sourcing, originating, appraising, and acquiring specific land parcels throughout the UK for the development of new renewable energy projects.

*Negotiate viable and cost-effective land deals that allow renewable energy projects to progress
*Negotiate and draft competitive land agreements
*Take a lead role in delivering land rights and any associated matters
*Understand farming and forestry economics and regulations
*Attend any necessary consultations and meetings with stakeholder groups
*Advise how best to manage our land assets, ideally including environmental responsibilities and obligations
*Professional in establishing and maintaining good relationships
*Keep meticulous electronic recording of discussions; noting issues and seeking resolution as they arise

You will have relevant acquisitions/transactional experience, with an understanding of option agreements, conditional sale & purchase agreements, agreement for lease / leases. A self-starter, entrepreneurial and 'hands on' nature, with the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
