Are you interested in joining a well renowned and well established Nadcap manufacturing company? Their products are engineered for commercial, medical, military and aerospace industries. Accordingly, AS9100 and ISO9001 registrations are maintained. They supply gearing systems and gearboxes to a global client base and are currently recruiting for a Machinist with five years' experience in engineering machining.

You will be joining the in-house design technical department. Contributing to the development, prototype and manufacture of systems and assemblies for commercial, medical, military and aerospace industries. If you have power transmission machining experience and live in Hertfordshire or surrounds this could be an excellent opportunity for you.


Essential Skills & Experience

* Gear cutting experience desirable, but training can be given
* Minimum 5 years' time served in engineering machining
* CNC programming, setting and operating desirable
* Setting and running manual machines
* A good understanding of technical drawings & aerospace procedures
* Able to use shop floor measuring equipment for checking own work
* Willing to learn new skills to become cross functional for the business
* competent computer literacy skills

Education

* Ideally apprentice trained

Benefits

* Voluntary overtime paid at time and a half (double time on Sundays)
* 39 hours per week, paid monthly Monday to Friday, early finish at 1pm on Friday
