I am currently partnering with a client based in Europe who are recruiting for a Network Architect who has experience of designing systems from scratch.
To be suitable for this role, candidates will need experience of carrier grade networks.
Responsibilities will include:
Design Dataplane and Broadcom centric capabilities and features in the following areas: MAC, VLAN (Q-in-Q), traffic shaping and metering, HQOS, ACL, MEF 10.2/10.3
Development Leader of advanced switching and routing services, such as IS-IS, BGP-PIC, OSPF, Segment Routing, IP-VPN, EVPN, NFV, L2/L3 forwarding, MPLS, traffic management
Integrating third party software and BCM SDK to existing platform and hardware capabilities
Author and contribute of L2/L3 datapath architecture, software design, development, validation and documentation
Identifying customer's use cases and providing an excellent tailor-made solution by interacting with PLM and architects.
