The person hired for the position of Global Strategic Marketing Manager for the Transdermal Drug Delivery (TDD) Business in Drug Delivery Systems Division will be responsible for developing marketing strategies as well as coordinating global cross functional activities in support of financial targets for the entire Transdermal portfolio (TDD Systems, TDD Components and Micro-Structured Transdermal Systems (MTS)). The successful candidate will also need to look at the current trends in Pharmaceutical development as part of this role.
MTS is a strategic focus and a key platform in providing long term growth for the division and is currently at a critical stage of development as the division implements plans to scale-up the technology;
Skills and experience:
Align cross functions to achieve global P&L targets Understand where the market is going for future technologies Identify, assess and enable new business opportunities and present to senior leadership in conjunction with Business Development Global Customer Intimacy Needs, Trends, Profiles Obtain and keep current industry insights Global Association Relationships Define Competitive Intelligence Strategy and interpreted implications to the business Provide Strategic Direction to develop strategic plan and recommendations to Global Leadership Global product portfolio management, including deep dives Develop pricing strategy recommendation Drive New Product Introduction (NPI) pipeline Prioritization and recommendations of new product opportunities Portfolio strategy Champion NPI projects and New product introduction Link marketing assessment to Business Opportunity Assessments (BOAs) Ensure effective new product launch plans and coordinate launch deployment with key accounts Support Key Accounts critical needs Coordination of S&OP plans Create an M&A Hopper Effective Communication and Global Organizational Alignment Basic Qualifications:
Possess a Bachelor's degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution Minimum eight (8) years combined experience in a marketing, business and/or technical position in a private, public, government or military environment Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree in Business Administration Experience leading a Cross-Functional team Experience in pharmaceutical industry Proven ability to navigate 3M global matrix or similar global matrix organization Experience in business management, product or category marketing, new product development and marketing, project management, finance, manufacturing or technical experience Skills include ability to strong analytical capability, deal with ambiguity, provide clarity and direction, demonstrate leadership presence, and communicate clearly and concisely Business & financial acumen Analytical/Interpretation, presentation, business writing and collaboration skill
