I am looking for a Product Manager who is looking to join a growing data science company that research biomarkers for the diagnosis of prostate cancer, target validation, and new drug development services. This position provides the opportunity to "own" the platforms products and services, with progression to a C level position. The role will consist of: Developing innovative and technical solutions for computational biology, text mining, natural language processing and, data science orientated problems. Aligning the product roadmap with the company vision and communicating with stakeholders to understand business objectives. Managing the product backlog to prioritise needs and optimising the value of the development team. Requirements: Product management or ownership experience gained withing a Biotech/Pharma field. Competent programming and technical skills in one or more programming languages. Advanced experience in one of computational biology, text mining, network pharmacology or natural language processing (NLP). Strategically minded with a firm grasp of the BioData problems pharmaceutical and biomedical research companies face. You will have experience of the challenges companies face in being able to maximise value from curated biomedical data. Ideally: Experience Structuring biomedical text Experience with biomedical data curation and curation schemas. Perhaps you have worked on data curation projects or to build large training data sets for projects. Working alongside the lead data scientist and data scientists you will have a good understanding of machine learning and artificial intelligence. An understanding of machine learning and AI algorithms would be beneficial. Testing experience through QA/QC & acceptance testing.
