Projects (Startup) Leader| Oil & Gas | Inspection, Maintenance & Repair | Aberdeen

My client, one of the largest providers of integrated oilfield products, services and digital solutions, is currently looking for a Projects Leader to join on a permanent basis during a period of exponential growth within the business. The Projects Leader will bring project management leadership to a startup within this organisation. This new business venture is focussed towards IMR services.

About the role:
The Projects Leader is responsible to contribute to an innovative start-up concept to enter the IMR market through digital, technology and data analysis. The goal of the start-up is to displace ROVs and vessels, integrate with operators by combining acoustic & visual inspection and integrate it with production data.
The Projects Leader is responsible to manage the overall project, the stakeholders and provide the project planning overview.


  • Be part of a small team and create a start-up culture to generate a detailed business plan to enter the IMR market by using internal and external resources and engaging with internal and external stakeholders

  • Contribute to a full market analysis & external partner overview to execute the business plan; identify and partner with internal stakeholder

  • Present the plan to management and lay out how the business will make money, execute and which customers are targeted

  • Develop the execution model for the IMR case by collaborating with the internal stakeholders

  • Project manage the overall business plan creation, the alignment with ISMs, OFS, M&C

  • Provide the overall planning capabilities


  • Experience in Project Management at a senior level
