Project Manager, Warwickshire

My client, a pioneering medical devices company, is currently looking for a Project Manager to join on a permanent basis during a period of exponential growth within the business. The Project Manager will be responsible for successfully managing production and manufacturing projects on Quanta's behalf - these projects will typically be diverse in nature with some technical or delivery unknowns present at the start of the project. The Project Manager is expected to deliver projects using industry and Quanta best practise successfully and autonomously and draw on formal and informal support from within the Project Management Office as needed.

Key Job Responsibilities for this position include:
*Provide accurate spot measurements of project status, maintaining at all times up to date timelines for delivery of major milestones. Identify & document new risks and their impact on the project, proposing suitable mitigations
*Coordinate a team, leveraging senior technical and business leadership as needed
*Dynamically adapt formal and informal communication strategy to stakeholders across the business, ensuring every interaction balances business need with personal relationships
*Propose & contribute to process improvements and ensure adherence to all relevant processes in a collaborative manner


Qualifications/Requirements:
*Degree Qualified or equivalent: BSc (Hons.) or BEng (Hons.) 2:1 or better, ideally in an engineering or related technical discipline.
*Minimum 5 years hands-on Project Management experience, preferably supporting complex Medical Device delivery or from another regulated environment (e.g. Aerospace or Defence development, Life Sciences etc.)
*Knowledge of contemporary Project Management tools & techniques e.g. PRINCE 2, Critical Chain, Agile etc
*Knowledge of ISO 9001 and/or ISO13485 in a complex development environment
*Sound understanding of risk management principles applied to the development of safety critical systems (ISO 14971)

The ideal candidate must be highly proactive and results focused with the ability to influence others within the team. They need to have a proven ability to achieve business' targets and possess strong technical problem-solving skill. A self-motivated individual who can work both individually and as part of a team.
