Our manufacturing client asks Python Data Scientists to apply for an exciting twelve-month contract.
This is an opportunity to do data science in a very real world.
The Test Data Systems team are responsible for the Automation and Data Acquisition Systems.
Your contribution will be putting in place metrics for team processes, helping them be successful.
There is some home working involved but you will need to also visit site.
Data Scientist Duties
*You will take processes and turn them into KPIs and visuals.
*Interacting with people for example the engineering team and lead. And as an individual contributor.
*You will be comfortable with Python and Power BI and have experience in coding.
*Integrating multiple datasets from a variety of sources (databases, web-tables, reference files etc.)
*Identifying and mapping relationships between datasets
*Identifying gaps in data collection and working with supporting teams to address
*Automating data processing functions (calculations and transformations)
*Excellent numerical and analytical skills
*Knowledge of data modelling, data cleansing and data enrichment techniques
*Demonstrated experience of data analysis and visualisation (preferably Power BI)
*Demonstrated experience of automation coding (preferably Python)
*Ability to communicate effectively with team members, other business units, customers, and suppliers
Data Scientist skills and tools
*Python (and common data analysis libraries), Power BI, SQL, DAX, DevOps, Git, Power Automate, Power Apps and similar
