For one of our clients based in Brussels, we are looking for a "Radio Frequency Roll-out Engineer - Senior".

Responsibilities :

- Based on predefined engineering rules and target configuration (technologies, bands) define and document the appropriate radio designs
- Challenge these solutions during dedicated assessment meetings, taking into account other aspects like building, acquisition, stability and environmental constraints.
- Give the appropriate support to people doing the site surveys
- Validate Technical reports, site surveys and drawings
- Consolidate the site information's in the radio planning tool and define final antenna parameters, taking into account as well the standalone networks
- Request and do the follow up of health certificates(Health/Environmental permits) with partners. Import the results in our database and manage any change that would be needed in the network to fully respect the health norms in use in the region
- Validate the BOQ's and order specific vendor radio equipment
- Assure a perfect reflection of the access network configuration in the design databases
- Close follow the site performance after integration, participate to the final site and cluster acceptance in terms of coverage and quality
- Find and approve candidates for new sites
- Support site sharing activities : PSR, LOI to be treated on time

What makes the job difficult to perform?

- Knowledge of multiple radio access technologies is needed
- The need for creativity and problem solving skills: there is often not a single correct solution for a problem.
- Not only technical knowledge is required: communication skills and team player attitude are required to find solutions that are accepted by the colleagues responsible for site acquisition and site construction.
