This experience would include practical involvement in pharmacology, drug discovery - e.g. assay development, compound or antibody testing, target validation, target deconvolution, preferably over more than one therapeutic area.
This practical experience would be combined with a demonstrated capability in bioinformatics or computational biology and statistical data analysis, with a desire to learn more.
Experience of project management of external collaborations would be an advantage, along with experience in project report writing, ideally for different audiences
Ability to carry out critical literature reviews efficiently, distilling key findings and available datasets
Successful candidates will be involved in the inception, running and managing of internal and external drug discovery and functional genomics projects, communicating with external collaborators and innovating with other team members to provide new solutions and enhancing existing capabilities.
While not a managerial position the opportunity to recruit and expand the team will develop with the company' growth.
