I am looking for a Senior Electronics Engineer who will be responsible for whole lifecycle design, integration, introduction and sustaining of new and updated Printed Circuit Board assemblies (PCB), analogue circuit design (low/medium-speed measurement and sensing circuits), digital circuit design (microcontrollers, logic, I/O and digital sensors), power electronics design (DC power management, AC power switching, battery and actuator circuits), electronics architecture and integration with system-level architecture, and you will work closely with PCB Layout engineers (layout skills not necessary).
Key skills and responsibilities:
*Electronics Engineering, Applied Physics or similar degree
*Multiple years' experience of hands-on design experience
*Electronics architecture and integration with system-level architecture
*Schematic design and capture (Altium)
*DFM (Design for Manufacture) and DFT (Design for Test)
*DFC (Design for Cost), materials selection and CAD library work
*Design and testing for regulatory/EMC compliance (safety, emissions, immunity & ESD)
*Debug and bring-up of prototypes
*Previous medical electronics experience is an advantage but not essential
*Technical writing skills for procedures, quality records and reports.
