A manufacturing client in Peterlee requires a Manufacturing Operations Accountant. Your industry experience should be from a manufacturing or agricultural background. You will be responsible for the accurate and timely completion of accounting processes and reporting and provide support to the Articulated Trucks facility.
You will be responsible for the reporting and analysis of results of
* Month end routine processes, including Journals, Prepayments, Accruals and General Ledger reporting
* Accounts Receivable entries from daily Sales invoicing
* Investigate and resolve issues relating to accounting transactions or systems
* Collaborating with cross functional partners to ensure robust procedures and accurate accounting records, including budget management
* Support external and internal audits, including Sarbanes Oxley controls
Skills
* Educated to a degree level or qualified by experience. Professional Certification (AAT or equivalent)
* Financial Analysis: Knowledge of tools and approaches of financial analysis; ability to read, interpret and draw accurate conclusions from financial and numerical material.
* Skilled in using SAP and Excel
