Key responsibilities in the role include:
-Developing new strategic supplier relationships
-Undertaking a comprehensive supplier review
-Full ownership of price negotiation
-Working closely with technical engineering teams on projects and future demands
-Developing reporting & systems
-Introducing new best practice into the organisation, coaching non-commercial staff
Applicants will ideally have a minimum of 3 years in a similar role and be seeking the next step up in their career.
A combination of outstanding commercial acumen coupled with solid engineering product/specification awareness is required.
