Volt Singapore's Brian Hardiman, Associate Director of HR and Wendy Young, HR Consultant are partnering with Lisa Mulligan, Group Diversity & Inclusion Director at Worley, to run a series of webinars on the major topics impacting the D&I agenda in Asia.

Each lunchtime zoom session will feature guest speakers and thought leaders who will share their own perspectives and experiences with the audience on the topic at hand. We’re excited to share our first event:

How have the cultural events of 2020 impacted the D&I agenda in Asia?

Host: Lisa Mulligan (Group Diversity & Inclusion Director @ Worley)

Speakers: Michelle Cronin (APAC D&I Partner @ Facebook) & Shoon Lim (Global D&I, Asia Practice Leader @ Microsoft)

3rd December 2020 – 12pm – 1pm, Singapore Timezone

Discussion Topics: Black Lives Matter, founded in 2013 gained international media attention this year with the death of George Floyd during a police arrest in May. As a result race relations and diversity & inclusion are once again major talking points for international companies but how has the BLM movement changed the conversation here in Asia?

How can HR and D&I Leaders make a meaningful impact on bias or racism in their own organization across our multi-ethnic and diverse region? What can we all do to ensure a more inclusive 2021?

Our goal is to raise awareness and provide all attendees with tangible takeaways and usable action points so they can work towards improving the experience of every employee in their own workplace.
